Swan Lake: Reimagining a Classic Book

Ballet photographer Bill Cooper has captured all the excitement of the ballet in this Swan Lake: Reimagining a Classic Book. Immerse yourself in the magic of this classic performance and get a behind-the-scenes look with this captivating book.

Bill Cooper leads the field in performing arts photography. He has worked for all the major opera and ballet companies in the UK, while commissions abroad have taken him to companies in Tokyo, New York, Wellington (New Zealand), Paris, Modena, Madrid, Turin, Stuttgard and Frankfurt.

Liam Scarlett's glorious production of Swan Lake for The Royal Ballet was given its world premiere on 17 May 2018. The 19th-century vision of Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov came alive anew in Scarlett's restaging with John Macfarlane's magnificent designs and David Finn's evocative lighting. The full company of Royal Ballet dancers shines in this eternal tale of doomed love, a masterpiece that represents for many the apex of classical ballet.

More Matthew Ball please!

Excellent production, fabulous photos. Please do something similar for each of the great ballets in the Royal Ballet’s repertoire! I am sure there is a market for them!
Only criticism - there should be far more photos of Matthew Ball!!
