Long Silver Branch Necklace

The Long Silver Branch Necklace is inspired by the tree from the set design of our Das Rheingold production. Artist Amanda Coleman began by researching the opera and photos of the set and chose a twig for the necklace design which looked like a miniature tree. Sections of a branch where sent to a company to make a mould and once she had the branches in silver she selected the most pleasing parts. They were resized and soldered to a chain thus completing the magical alchemy of tree to jewellery.

Handmade with love in Amanda Coleman's workshop in Lincoln, UK. Amanda has been designing and making jewellery for over 20 years.
