Encore!

Shoes that deserved a second act. Nothing is more essential to a dancer than their pointe shoes. From the rigour of daily class, the creative energy of rehearsals and the exuberant joy of performances on stage, pointe shoes are there for a dancer at every moment until they wear out.

 

The Encore! range celebrates this, by using recycled pointe shoes from the Royal Ballet company. We have worked with Just Trade to make sure that the pointe shoes don't go to waste and they gain a new lease of life. Used ribbons, elastics and drawstrings are being repurposed into new accessories: an encore performance after a lifetime of supporting a dancer.
