Silver Branch Cufflinks - £110.00

A pair of silver cufflinks designed to look like a tree branch sit in a grey box

This pair of silver cufflinks takes inspiration from the tree on stage in the Royal Opera production of Das Rheingold, the first opera in Wagner’s Ring Cycle. These cufflinks are a great Valentine’s Day gift for any opera fan, and a wonderfully unique memento of the Royal Opera.

Amanda Coleman based the cufflinks on research she conducted on the production and pictures of the set. She often bases her designs on nature, and she chose a twig for the design that looked like a miniature tree with a gnarled texture.

A 100-year-old apple tree in Amanda’s garden provided the ideal bark with plenty of character and texture. Sections of a branch from the tree were sent off to create a mould, so they could be cast into precious metals.
