A story of humanity, Wagner's last opera Parsifal takes on a journey of a community in need of healing and compassion. The celebratory Stephen Langridge's production is designed by Alison Chitty and provides a filter to the 'intellectual fibre and visual eloquence' (Financial Times). The cast features Wagnerian tenor Simon O'Neill in the title role, Rene Pape as Gurnemanz, Gerald Finely as Amfortas and Angel Denoke as Kundry. Conducted by the Royal Opera House Music Director Antonio Pappano, The Orchestra of the Royal Opera House give an entrancing performance.
