Covent Garden Tote Bag

This exquisite Covent Garden Tote bag features exclusive illustrations by Portia Graves inspired by Covent Garden.Portia started by photographing the areas of Covent Garden she loves including the Royal Opera House. She sketched simple outlines and shading with a charcoal style pencil, then added a splash of colour keeping it neutral. She digitally painted watercolours behind each sketch to decide which colour scheme and settled on a fresh mint green and pale dusky rose. The design was turned into a seamless pattern for printing, using a textured watercolour paper and then digitally stitched it all together.
