Designed exclusively for the Royal Opera House by Just Trade to celebrate the return of Nutcracker to our stage. Just Trade works in partnership with small fair trade projects across the world. These projects offer life changing training, secure work opportunities and fairly paid employment for marginalised producers.
Our Nutcracker Snowflake earrings are handmade by the Flowering Desert Project which provides training and fairly paid work for women from rural communities in Tamil Nadu, Southern India. The earrings are hand cut from brass and planished using a specialist hammer to give it texture then silver plated, they each have a pearl bead in the centre.
